The CARs have more than 13.8 million hectares covered with an adopted Forest Management Plan.

CARs have planted more than 52.4 million trees in the last 3 years in their fight against deforestation.
Colombia has 311 regional protected areas. Of these areas, the Regional Autonomous and Sustainable Development Corporations have declared more than 95%, covering 3.9 million hectares, providing invaluable ecosystem goods and services, such as climate and water regulators and habitat for native and migratory species.
