01

Ensure that all areas are subject to integrated participatory spatial planning that takes into account biodiversity and/or effective management processes that address land-use change (...) so that the loss of areas of critical importance for biodiversity, including ecosystems of high ecological integrity, is close to zero by 2030 , respecting (...) the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities.

“By 2030, the aim is to conserve and effectively manage at least 30% of land and inland water areas, as well as marine and coastal areas. This includes areas of particular importance for biodiversity and ecosystem services. (...) In addition, indigenous and traditional territories will be recognised.

04
